New Bearings on Justice in Urban Mobility

Doctoral thesis submitted to the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, under the supervision of Prof. Geetam Tiwari and Prof. Reetika Khera.

The thesis builds new tools from the Capability Approach and critical theory to understand injustices in everyday urban mobility. Through a case study of North-West Delhi, it examines how structural inequalities shape people’s ability to move through the city and reach the opportunities that matter to them.
