This study traced the impact of Delhi&amp;rsquo;s free bus travel scheme for women, the first of its kind in India, on women&amp;rsquo;s daily lives. We surveyed over 500 women and conducted 20 in-depth interviews. The scheme significantly increased women&amp;rsquo;s independent mobility.
